Grammar Olympics (2nd–5th Grade)

Get ready for the Grammar Olympics with Mrs. Bernard! This fun and interactive academic camp will have students competing in events like capitalization, punctuation, spelling, and word usage, all while aiming to Go for the Gold! Throughout the week, we’ll strengthen our memory muscles with rules, guidelines, and strategies, then put our skills to the test in games designed to beat previous scores in each event. Join Mrs. Bernard for a week of learning, laughing, and striving for Grammar Gold!

Becoming a Ballerina (1st–3rd Grade)

Step into the spotlight and dance with grace! Campers will learn classical ballet positions, basic techniques, and creative choreography inspired by the beauty of ballet. With music, movement, and imagination, every dancer will feel like a true ballerina by the end of the week!

PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm):

Mixed Media Masters (1st–3rd Grade)

Unleash your inner artist! In this hands-on art camp, students will explore a wide range of materials, including paint, paper, recycled, and found objects, to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will experiment with texture, color, and composition as they learn how to combine different elements into unique works of art. Each day offers new opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and imaginative design, making this the perfect camp for young artists who love to think outside the box!

Writing Studio (3rd–5th Grade)

This class will focus on creative writing in fiction, poetry, drama, and personal narratives. Students will develop and reinforce descriptive writing, personal expressions, vocabulary, and word choice, how to write for pleasure, dramatic and poetic form, and journalistic writing. We’ll have performance, interactive group work, and writing games. A personal decorative writing journal will be created for students to use as a continued source to practice their writing skills throughout the summer. English proficiency required.

Writer’s Workshop (1st–2nd Grade)

Mrs. Owens is calling all writers! This writing class will not only strengthen campers’ skills, but it will also foster a love of writing in a fun, encouraging environment. Because this class will focus on writing using a voice, campers will draw inspiration from creative projects done inside the class such as painting and crafting. Each student will also keep a writing journal which will be used daily. Comparison writing activities from the start of camp until the end will allow parents to see the wonderful progress made by their campers.

Kinders Write On (JK/K Grade)

Get ready to write, draw, and create! In this fun and supportive camp, young writers will build early writing skills through hands-on activities, storytelling, and imaginative prompts. Campers will practice forming letters, writing simple words and sentences, and illustrating their ideas as they bring their stories to life. With songs, games, and plenty of creativity, this camp helps students gain confidence and excitement for writing as they prepare for the school year ahead!

Scottish Sports (1st–5th Grade)

Step into the Highlands for a week of Scottish-style games and friendly competition! Campers will take part in exciting events inspired by traditional Highland Games, such as tug-of-war, caber toss, and other team challenges that build strength, teamwork, and spirit. Each group will also create their own Scottish clan; complete with a name, crest, and crafts that showcase their unique identity. It’s an action-packed week celebrating creativity, camaraderie, and a touch of Scottish tradition!

Circus & Magic Training (JK–8th Grade)

Are you ready to join Mrs. Bernard in the The Greatest Show? In circus and magic training camp, students will learn to be the ultimate performers by mastering illusions, magic, and the great art of circus performance! Making objects disappear, taming (pretend) animals, and jumping through actual hoops are all a part of our incredible show! On the last day of camp, our performers and magicians will amaze and dazzle their family members with a circus show for all ages! Don’t miss the chance for your little magician or acrobat to show what they can do at The Greatest Show: Circus & Magic Training!

Summer of Superheroes (JK/K)

Calling all heroes! In this action-packed camp, students will discover their inner superpowers through creative games, crafts, and team challenges. Campers will design their own superhero costumes, create secret identities, and complete daily missions that build confidence, kindness, and courage. By the end of the week, every hero will be ready to save the day!
