Fashion School (2nd–5th Grade) Week 1 (June 16–20) Unleash Your Inner Fashion Designer! Does your child dream of designing their own dazzling outfits? This summer, campers can transform their fashion fantasies into reality at Fashion Camp. Young designers will utilize mini mannequins as their personal design canvases, working with a variety of fabrics and an array of embellishments. They’ll learn essential design principles, from sketching to construction, culminating in a mini fashion show where they can proudly showcase their unique and stylish creations. Let the fashion fun begin! No sewing experience necessary – just bring your creativity! There will be NO camp sessions on Thursday, June 19 due to the Juneteenth holiday. Middle School Minds: Podcasting & Media: Lights, Mic, Action (6th–8th Grade) Week 1 (June 16–20) Unleash your creativity in this exciting hands-on camp where middle schoolers become storytellers, producers, and media creators! From brainstorming big ideas to recording and editing their very own podcast episode, students will dive into the world of media production. They’ll explore topics they love, learn how to interview like a pro, and even design eye-catching cover art for their show. Whether they dream of becoming the next big podcaster or just love to create, this week is packed with fun, teamwork, and opportunities to let their voices shine. By the end of the week, they’ll walk away with their very own podcast episode to share with family and friends! NOTE: This camp is offered for both AM & PM Session. While students are welcome to join both sessions, activities will be the same in each session. New! Middle School Minds: Pop Culture: All Things Hello Kitty (6th–8th Grade) Week 2 (June 23–26) Step into the world of kawaii (cute) culture with this fun and creative exploration of all things Hello Kitty! Middle schoolers will learn about the history and global impact of this beloved icon, design their own adorable Hello Kitty-inspired characters, and craft custom creations like stickers and artwork. Packed with creativity, culture, and hands-on activities, this camp is perfect for fans of Hello Kitty and anyone who loves to create and celebrate all things cute! New! Animal Advocates (JK–8th Grade) Week 3 (June 30–July 3) Join Miss Kyte for a week of inspiration and action! Campers will learn about ways we can protect the environment and help animals in our community. Through hands-on projects, they’ll create items to donate to local shelters and explore practical ways to make a difference in the lives of animals. With Miss Kyte’s passion for animals, students will leave this camp empowered to advocate for creatures big and small! Shark Week (JK–3rd Grade) Week 4 (July 7–10) Dive into the excitement of Shark Week with Mrs. Plumlee in this jaw-some camp, timed perfectly with the real Shark Week this summer! Elementary students will learn all about sharks, their habitats, and the important role they play in our oceans. Through fun, hands-on activities, crafts, and games, campers will explore shark anatomy, behavior, and conservation efforts. Get ready to sink your teeth into learning in this fin-tastic camp! New! Build a Farmer’s Market Street Fair (JK–8th Grade) Week 5 (July 14–17) Have you ever wished you could have your own stall at a Farmer’s Market or Street Fair? In Mrs. Bernard’s Build a Farmer’s Market Camp, students will create their own Farmer’s Market by preparing signs and stalls and selling REAL crafts and goods at our Farmer’s Market, which will take place on the last day of camp! Campers will also learn about how food grows and is harvested from a REAL farmer who will visit the class to tell us about their job! Pokemon Explorers (4th–8th Grade) Week 1 (June 16–20) Embark on a thrilling 4-day journey into the enchanting world of Pokémon! Our Pokémon Explorers Camp is a dynamic and interactive experience that combines fun and learning. Each daily session covers diverse aspects of the Pokémon universe, from understanding Pokémon types and trainers to exploring their habitats and engaging in strategic battles. Animated Dreams (JK–2nd Grade) Week 4 (July 7–10) Step into the world of imagination at this exciting new camp! Students will explore the magic behind their favorite animated movies through creative activities, art projects, and storytelling. Campers will learn about animation techniques, character design, and even create their own short films and storylines. From Woody to Nemo, get ready to bring the stories to life! Kid Presidents: Build a Nation (JK–8th Grade) Week 5 (July 14–17) Are you the future president of the United States? If so, Mrs. Bernard wants YOU to join this popular camp. In our Kid Presidents – Build a Nation camp, the citizens of our country will vote on a name and flag for our special country, and we will elect officers to run our nation, including a president! THEN the fun begins: We will build our new land out of cardboard, plenty of paint, props, and some good old-fashioned hard work! Once our land is built, our nation will be open for business! Teachers and students from Camp Heritage Oak will be welcomed as a grand finale to tour our very own special place. Campers will learn all about cities, important jobs, counting money, working toward a common goal and being a part of the community. This is a chance for your child to dive into his or her own imagination, develop critical thinking skills, and learn what it takes to make a city run. It’s the perfect combination of learning and fun! Circus and Magic Training (JK–8th Grade) Week 6 (July 21–24) Are you ready to join Mrs. Bernard in the The Greatest Show? In circus and magic training camp, students will learn to be the ultimate performers by mastering illusions, magic, and the great art of circus performance! Making objects disappear, taming (pretend) animals, and jumping through actual hoops are all a part of our incredible show! On the last day of camp, our performers and magicians will amaze and dazzle their family members with a circus show for all ages! Pirate’s Paradise (JK–2nd Grade) Week 7 (July 28–31) Ahoy, young adventurers! Set sail on a pirate journey filled with excitement and discovery. In this action-packed camp, kids will dive into the thrilling world of pirates, learning to read treasure maps, create pirate crafts, and embark on daily treasure hunts. They’ll practice pirate lingo, design their own flags, and even craft their own pirate gear! With games, challenges, and imaginative adventures, this camp is the perfect opportunity for kids to unleash their inner pirate and experience a week of fun and friendship on the high seas! Carnival Games (JK–5th Grade) Week 9 (August 11–14) Step right up for a week of fun! In this camp, students will plan, design, create, and build their very own carnival games and activities. Students will learn about the importance of teamwork, as they help one another to test out their creations and make them more fun. At the end of the week, you are invited to have a day of excitement playing and enjoying your child’s crafty creations!
