K-Pop Letter Hunters (PS/PK) Week 6 (July 20-23) Get ready to dance, sing, and hunt for letters in this exciting, music-filled literacy adventure! In H, I, J, K – Pop Letter Hunters, preschoolers will explore letters and sounds through movement, rhythm, and creative play — all inspired by the fun and energy of the popular “pop” movie kids love. Each day combines phonics, music, and hands-on activities to help children recognize letters, practice beginning sounds, and build early literacy skills in an upbeat and joyful way. Our HOPE Academy classes are available to children aged 3 through 4 years old and all students must be fully potty trained in order to participate. Middle School Orchestra: Heritage Oak Students ONLY (6th-8th) Week 10 (August 17-20) This class will prepare Orchestra students for the upcoming school year. Students will work in an ensemble with multiple instruments and sections. They will learn new techniques with their respective instruments and focus as a group on music theory, music history, listening and aural skills, music notation, and new music terms. PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm): Music & Movement (JK–2nd Grade) Week 4 (July 6-9) Get ready to move and groove with Mrs. Owens in this exciting new summer camp! In this high-energy class, students will explore rhythm, dance, and musical instruments through fun activities and catchy tunes. As they tap into their creativity, they’ll develop coordination, listening skills, and a lasting love for music. Mrs. Owens is thrilled to share her passion for music in this upbeat and engaging camp! Sounds of Summer (JK–5th Grade) Week 6 (July 20-23) Get ready to make some noise and celebrate the joy of music! In this fun-filled camp, students will explore rhythm, melody, and harmony through singing, instruments, and creative movement. Campers will learn to play simple songs on the ukulele, experiment with percussion, and discover sounds from around the world. They’ll also enjoy hands-on music-themed crafts and activities that inspire creativity and teamwork. It’s the perfect blend of learning, laughter, and musical fun to kick off the summer!
