In this high-energy camp, students will take on daily math challenges, brainteasers, and team competitions designed to stretch their thinking and boost confidence. From logic puzzles and strategy games to real-world math applications, campers will discover that math can be both exciting and rewarding. Whether you love numbers or just want to level up your skills, this camp will help every student think critically, collaborate, and have fun along the way! Monster Math (1st–2nd Grade) Week 3 (June 29-July 2) Join Mrs. Owens for a monstrously fun week of math adventures! In this hands-on camp, students will strengthen their number sense, addition, subtraction, and problem-solving skills through exciting games, creative crafts, and playful monster-themed activities. Campers will build confidence in their math abilities while discovering that numbers can be both silly and fun. Get ready to count, create, and conquer math with a monster-sized smile! Math in Motion (2nd–3rd Grade) Week 4 (July 6-9) This engaging camp brings math to life through movement! Students will explore mathematical concepts like patterns, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving using games and hands-on activities. Through movement and collaboration, campers will strengthen their math skills while having fun in a dynamic, active learning environment. PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm): Sprinkle Math Party (JK/K Grade) Week 5 (July 13-16) Cool off this summer with Miss Vazquez at our Sprinkle Math Party! This week-long camp is designed for kindergarten students to review a variety of math concepts in a fun and engaging way. With ice cream-themed activities, campers will explore counting, shapes, patterns, and more—plus, they’ll enjoy a special ice cream treat on the final day to celebrate all their hard work. It’s the sweetest way to build math skills and have a blast! Math Around the World (1st–2nd Grade) Week 5 (July 13-16) Introducing Math Around the World; an exciting new class that combines math with cultural exploration! Mrs. Owens and her students will “travel” to different countries, solving addition and subtraction challenges along the way. With interactive games, hands-on activities, and a personalized “mathport”, your child will build confidence and strengthen their math skills while having a blast. Math Around the World turns learning into an unforgettable adventure. Math Escape Room (3rd–4th Grade) Week 5 (July 13-16) Crack the codes, solve the puzzles, and escape… using math! In this exciting, challenge-based camp, students will put their problem-solving skills to the test through a series of themed escape room adventures. Each day, campers will work in teams to complete math challenges, decipher clues, and unlock mysteries using concepts like multiplication, division, fractions, and logic. With teamwork, critical thinking, and a little perseverance, they’ll discover that math isn’t just about numbers- it’s the key to every great escape! Build a Pizza Shop (4th–6th Grade) Week 7 (July 28–31) Looking for an engaging and challenging project-based learning task to enrich your child? This is a perfect math challenge for students who need a challenge or enrichment, and they’ll love getting to work within a budget to “purchase” ingredients for their pizza parlor. Students will practice many math skills while learning to work within a budget. They’ll finish the project by selling and serving pizza on Thursday. English proficiency required. Back to School Math Bootcamp (JK/K, 1st Grade, 2nd-3rd Grade, 4th-5th Grade) Week 10 (August 17-20) Back to School Bootcamp is the perfect camp to refresh school skills during our final week of summer camp! The afternoon session will be focused on math. Designed to mimic a classroom setting, students will review and reinforce key concepts in mathematics while engaging in new, level-tailored lessons. This focused, supportive camp helps build confidence, strengthen skills, and ensure a smooth transition into the upcoming school year. English proficiency required.
