In this class, young artists will explore a variety of creative techniques, including watercolor, layered tempera, mixed media, and unique materials, to craft one-of-a-kind masterpieces. With methods designed to inspire imagination and individuality, this class encourages every child to let their creativity shine! World of Watercolor (JK-5th Grade) Week 6 (July 20-23) Does your child love expressing themselves through art? The Jewelry Lab (2nd–8th Grade) Week 7 (July 27-30) Spark your creativity and design your own dazzling accessories! In this hands-on camp, students will experiment with a variety of materials to create unique pieces of jewelry each day. From bracelets and necklaces to keychains and charms, campers will explore color, texture, and design while learning basic jewelry-making techniques. It’s the perfect camp for young artists who love to craft, create, and shine! Summer Souvenirs (JK–3rd Grade) Week 8 (August 3-6) Create lasting memories with Summer Souvenirs! In this arts and crafts camp, students will craft unique, handmade keepsakes to capture the essence of their summer. From painted treasures to fun, personalized projects, each creation will serve as a reminder of a fantastic summer filled with creativity and fun! Printmaking (3rd–8th Grade) Week 9 (August 10-13) Explore the fun world of printmaking! Students will make their own stamps, ornaments, cards and more as they learn how to carve linoleum blocks, apply ink and make original works of art! In addition to making their own prints, students will learn about the different kinds of printmaking. Show off your artistic creativity in this fun camp! PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm): Ceramics Jr. (JK–3rd Grade) Week 1 (June 15-18) Clay, glaze, paint, and new friends will make up this week of creative artistry as campers explore the stages of clay piece production. With having our very own kiln right here on campus, campers will be able to decorate cups, plates, bowls, etc., with paint and glaze, and then items will be fired on-site and ready to go home to be shared with family members! Artist’s Limelight (2nd–5th Grade) Week 1 (June 15-18) Art History in a flash! Come learn the classification of art and the artists that made them famous. In this class, your child will be introduced to basic art techniques while learning about the artist’s style, vision, method, and material. Each student will create a piece inspired by famous artists such as Vincent van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, Antoni Gaudi, and Wassily Kandinsky. Crafting with Fine Motor Skills (JK/K Grade) Week 1 (June 15-18) Little hands will get creative in this fun and skill-building art camp! Through guided craft projects, students will strengthen fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow directions, all while exploring colors, shapes, and textures. Each day features themed projects, from zoo and jungle animals to patriotic creations, allowing campers to practice cutting, gluing, coloring, and assembling with confidence. By the end of the week, students will have their very own art book filled with colorful masterpieces to take home and treasure! In this hands-on art camp, students will explore a wide range of materials, including paint, paper, recycled, and found objects, to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. Campers will experiment with texture, color, and composition as they learn how to combine different elements into unique works of art. Each day offers new opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and imaginative design, making this the perfect camp for young artists who love to think outside the box! So Totally 90’s Crafts (2nd–8th Grade) Week 10 (August 17-20) Get ready to sparkle and shine- 90s style! In this throwback craft camp, we’ll deck out accessories with rhinestones, jewels, and puffy paint, and weave colorful lanyard keychains straight out of the ultimate 90s trend book. On our last day we will create fun hairstyles with braids, hair wraps, and butterfly clips so you can rock your 90s look all day long! From glitter to friendship flair, the creative possibilities are totally endless!
