STEM Quest (1st–3rd Grade) Week 1 (June 16–20) Explore, create, and innovate at our week-long STEM camp designed for elementary students! Through hands-on experiments, exciting engineering challenges, and engaging science activities, campers will discover the wonders of science, technology, engineering, and math. Each day, students will build problem-solving skills, spark their creativity, and have fun while exploring topics like robotics, coding, and physics in an interactive and supportive environment! There will be NO camp sessions on Thursday, June 19 due to the Juneteenth holiday. Camp will instead be open on Friday, June 20. English proficiency required. New! The Slime Lab (JK–8th Grade) Week 2 (June 23–26) Get ready for a gooey, hands-on adventure at our week-long Slime Week camp! Students will explore the science of slime as they create colorful, glittery, and even glow-in-the-dark varieties. Through fun experiments and creative challenges, campers will learn about polymers, textures, and chemical reactions while making their own unique slime creations to take home each day! NASA Dreams Rocket Science (JK–8th Grade) Week 3 (June 30–July 3) 3, 2, 1 – BLAST OFF! Mrs. Bernard invites your child to come to our NASA Dreams Rocket Science camp and get ready to experience the fun of flight! From the Wright Brothers all the way to the future of space travel, Rocket Science Camp will be jam-packed with excitement! Use our super rocket launcher to create a water rocket that will blast over 100 feet into the air! Find out what it is like for astronauts in zero gravity by completing anti-gravity challenges and even eat Astronaut Ice Cream! Create your own army man parachute! Find out what it takes to drop an egg from a building without letting it crack! Learn to fold and fly the “Paper Airplanes of the Day”! Fly on over to NASA Dreams Rocket Science Camp! NOTE: This camp is offered for both AM & PM Session. While students are welcome to join both sessions, activities will be the same in each session. Robotics Jr. (JK–3rd Grade) Week 7 (July 28–31) Robotics combines engineering, science, and technology skills to create machines that perform tasks and solve problems! Using VEX robots, campers will unlock the power of their imagination by designing and constructing remote-controlled robotic devices. Students will learn the concepts of Machine Intelligence, which is found in almost all the devices and machines around us, from cars to home automation to smartphones. The students will work to design the robot, build it, and move it by remote control. They will learn about robot sensors, which enable the robot to “feel” its environment. Robots are only limited by your imagination! The Bubble Lab (JK–5th Grade) Week 8 (August 4–7) Join Mrs. Prince in The Bubble Lab, where science meets fun! Dive into the fascinating world of bubbles as you create your own bubble solutions, design unique wands, explore the art and science behind bubbles, and even learn how to make bouncing bubbles. Get ready for hands-on experiments and bubbly excitement! Pre-Coding Club (JK–3rd Grade) Week 9 (August 11–14) Do you have a child who is interested in technology and computers? If so, they will LOVE the pre-coding club! Students will learn the basics of proper technology usage with mobile devices and computers, keyboarding concepts, and Internet and app safety. In addition, they will explore beginning computer programming concepts through block coding, fun coding activities, and coding skill-building apps such as Scratch Jr. and Tynker. New! Students will gain hands-on experience with technology while developing confidence in public speaking. Perfect practice for future oral presentations, this camp helps students refine their skills and become dynamic, confident presenters! Solar System Science (JK–2nd Grade) Week 4 (July 7–10) Blast off into a fun-filled week of exploring the Solar System with Mrs. Owens! Students will dive into exciting activities like reading passages, using graphic organizers, and conducting character studies on pioneers like Sally Ride and Neil Armstrong. Through interactive comprehension and connection activities, a slideshow presentation, and a hands-on planet flip book, campers will discover the wonders of our solar system. Campers will flex their debugging and code construction skills as well as experiment with various coding languages including Scratch, Swift, and Python to solve programming puzzles, create apps, or even design a basic video game! New! In My Slime Era (JK–5th Grade) Week 8 (August 4–7) Get ready for a week of Swiftie fun as we mix music and slime! In this Taylor Swift-themed slime camp, we’ll create custom slimes inspired by her iconic albums, from glittery “Fearless” slime to mood-changing “Midnights” slime. Join us for music, creativity, and endless gooey fun—because this camp is never going out of style!
