Math Mania is the perfect summer camp for 4th and 5th graders who love solving puzzles, cracking codes, and mastering new math skills. Through exciting hands-on activities, games, and challenges, campers will build confidence in their math abilities while exploring everything from geometry to multiplication tricks. With plenty of teamwork and fun competition, this class will make math feel like an adventure. Whether your child is a math whiz or just looking to sharpen their skills, Math Mania is the place to be this summer! There will be NO camp sessions on Thursday, June 19 due to the Juneteenth holiday. Camp will instead be open on Friday, June 20. English proficiency required. Interactive Math (3rd–5th Grade) Week 3 (June 30–July 3) Join us for a week of fun and engaging learning at our Interactive Math Camp! Led by Mrs. Reimer, a passionate educator, each day features themed lesson plans designed to make math exciting and accessible. Campers will explore a variety of math concepts through hands-on activities, games, and challenges tailored to their specific skill level. Whether they’re strengthening basic skills or tackling more advanced problems, students will leave this camp feeling more confident and excited about math! English proficiency required. New! Sprinkle Math Party (JK/K) Week 4 (July 7–10) Cool off this summer with Miss Vazquez at Math Sundae Camp! This week-long camp is designed for kindergarten students to review a variety of math concepts in a fun and engaging way. With ice cream-themed activities, campers will explore counting, shapes, patterns, and more—plus, they’ll enjoy a special ice cream treat on the final day to celebrate all their hard work. Math Around the World (1st–2nd Grade) Week 4 (July 7–10) Introducing Math Around the World—an exciting new class that combines math with cultural exploration! Mrs. Owens and her students will “travel” to different countries, solving addition and subtraction challenges along the way. With interactive games, hands-on activities, and a personalized “mathport”, your child will build confidence and strengthen their math skills while having a blast. Math Escape Challenge (3rd–5th Grade) Week 4 (July 7–10) Get ready for an exciting Math Escape Challenge with Ms. Tafolla! Each day, students will face new math challenges that they must solve to “escape” the great challenge. Working together as a team, campers will use their math skills to unlock clues and solve puzzles that reinforce a variety of math concepts. From numeracy to problem-solving, this camp combines teamwork, critical thinking, and fun to make learning math an unforgettable experience. English proficiency required. PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm): Money & Measurement (1st–2nd Grade) Week 3 (June 30–July 3) Join Mrs. Owens for a hands-on, fun-filled class of learning at our Money & Measurement Camp! Campers will deepen their understanding of monetary value through interactive activities, including “shopping” in our classroom, earning “money” for tasks completed, and playing games that teach the value of coins. They’ll also enhance their measuring skills by exploring concepts like length, weight, temperature, capacity, and time through engaging, real-world challenges. This camp is the perfect way for students to develop essential math skills while having a blast! English proficiency required. Sum Fun (JK/K Grade) Week 5 (July 14–17) It’s time to have “sum” fun! This math camp was designed to allow students ample opportunity to increase their skills with addition. Addition in the early education years lays a solid foundation for children to be successful in many other mathematical concepts that they will encounter. Students will take part in daily math drills, math games, centers, and so much more! English proficiency required. Multiplication Nation (4th–5th Grade) Week 5 (July 14–17) Master multiplication with Mrs. Reimer, an expert in helping students build strong math foundations! This accelerated camp focuses on one of the most essential skills for upper elementary students: multiplication. Campers will practice special strategies, engage in daily drills, and participate in fun activities designed to help them confidently master their facts. By solidifying these skills now, students will improve accuracy and be better prepared to tackle multi-digit multiplication and division. Get ready for a week of focused learning and math success! English proficiency required. Build a Pizza Shop (4th–6th Grade) Week 7 (July 28–31) Looking for an engaging and challenging project-based learning task to enrich your child? This is a perfect math challenge for students who need a challenge or enrichment, and they’ll love getting to work within a budget to “purchase” ingredients for their pizza parlor. Students will practice many math skills while learning to work within a budget. They’ll finish the project by selling and serving pizza on Thursday. English proficiency required. New! Math Squad (1st–2nd Grade) Week 9 (August 11–14) Join Mrs. Paramo for a week of math exploration and discovery! In this engaging math camp, students will dive into a variety of concepts across numeracy, measurement, operations, and more. Through hands-on activities, games, and challenges, campers will strengthen their math skills and gain confidence in tackling new topics. Back to School Prep: Math (JK–5th Grade) Week 10 (August 19–21) Back to School Prep is the perfect camp to refresh school skills during our final week of summer camp! The afternoon session will be focused on Math. Designed to mimic a classroom setting, students will review and reinforce key concepts in mathematics while engaging in new, level-tailored lessons.
