International Students Home / Admissions / International Students Welcome International Students For almost 60 years, Heritage Oak Private Education has been a cornerstone of academic excellence in Orange County, with over 30 years in the city of Yorba Linda. Accredited by the National Independent Private Schools Association, Heritage Oak is proud to be a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School. At Heritage Oak, students from preschool through 8th grade thrive in a supportive and calm learning environment. Our core curriculum is designed to be one year ahead of public school standards, ensuring our students are well-prepared for future academic success. Beginning in kindergarten, each child uses an iPad to enhance their learning and build the skills needed for high school and beyond. Our program includes Spanish, French, art, physical education, instrumental music, computer science, and etiquette. View Admissions Process Summer Program International students of all English levels can join our summer camp! It is a great way to make friends, learn, and have fun. Contact Shawna Rhebergen for more details. Short-Term School Year Program Want to experience our school for a short time? Our Winter Immersion program runs from January to February, with a minimum enrollment of two weeks. Spaces are extremely limited. Students from Korea, please contact JLI Camp. All other students, please email Shawna Rhebergen to check availability. School Year Program Learning at our school goes beyond traditional academics. Our students benefit from classes in fine arts, instrumental and vocal music, French, Spanish, computers, physical education, and etiquette. Students in 4th–8th grade can also participate in after-school sports leagues and a range of extracurricular programs. Many of our students go on to top high schools in honors programs. Admissions Process Applying to Heritage Oak Private Education is almost the same for international students as it is for U.S. students. However, we recommend applying early to allow enough time for visa processing and paperwork. Applications are reviewed by our Admissions Committee once all required documents have been received. International applicants must also participate in a Zoom interview and submit English Proficiency test results (TOEFL Jr., ITEP Slate, or equivalent). We will notify families as soon as a decision is made. After receiving the Enrollment Contract and the $2,000 registration fee, our Director of Admissions will issue the I-20 form, which is needed to apply for an F-1 student visa. For tuition information, please contact Shawna Rhebergen.
