Week 7 July 28-31 Home / Camp & After School / Specialty Camps / Week 7 Full Day Sessions (9:00 am-4:00 pm): Intensive School Year Prep (JK/K . 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, 3rd Grade, 4th-5th Grade) Get ready for success in the upcoming school year with our full day academic summer camp! Designed to mimic a classroom setting, students will review and reinforce key concepts in math, reading, and writing while engaging in new, level-tailored lessons. Campers will also receive an assessment created by the teacher on the final day, giving you valuable insight into your child’s progress. This camp provides a focused, supportive environment to build confidence, strengthen skills, and ensure a smooth transition into the next grade. AM Sessions (9:00 am –12:00 pm): The Jewelry Lab (2nd–8th Grade) Spark your creativity and design your own dazzling accessories! In this hands-on camp, students will experiment with a variety of materials to create unique pieces of jewelry each day. From bracelets and necklaces to keychains and charms, campers will explore color, texture, and design while learning basic jewelry-making techniques. It’s the perfect camp for young artists who love to craft, create, and shine! Creative Cooking Jr. (JK–3rd Grade) Get ready to cook up some fun in this hands-on cooking camp! Students will learn how to prepare a variety of simple, no-appliance recipes they can use in the future. From tasty snacks to creative meals, campers will explore new ingredients and cooking techniques while gaining confidence in the kitchen. Coding Club Jr. (4th–8th Grade) This intermediate/advanced coding camp is designed for those students who have previous experience coding either from Heritage Oak’s Computer Science class or elsewhere. Campers will flex their debugging and code construction skills as well as experiment with various coding languages including Scratch, Swift, and Python to solve programming puzzles, create apps, or even design a basic video game! New! Pirate’s Paradise (JK–2nd Grade) Ahoy, young adventurers! Set sail on a pirate journey filled with excitement and discovery. In this action-packed camp, kids will dive into the thrilling world of pirates, learning to read treasure maps, create pirate crafts, and embark on daily treasure hunts. They’ll practice pirate lingo, design their own flags, and even craft their own pirate gear! With games, challenges, and imaginative adventures, this camp is the perfect opportunity for kids to unleash their inner pirate and experience a week of fun and friendship on the high seas! New! Highland Games (1st–5th Grade) Join us for a week of Scottish-style competitions, including exciting events like tug-of-war and the caber toss! Students will also create their own Scottish Clan (family), designing unique crafts and symbols to represent their team.
