AM Sessions (9:00 am –12:00 pm): New! Middle School Minds: Design Institute (6th–8th Grade) Step into the exciting world of design at our Design Institute summer camp! In this hands-on class, students will learn the basics of architecture, interior design, and more. From sketching floor plans to creating model buildings and designing beautiful spaces, you’ll discover the creativity and problem-solving skills that go into designing environments. Whether you’re interested in designing homes, schools, or even futuristic cities, this class will inspire you to think like a designer and bring your ideas to life! New! Meet Your Heroes: Fire and Police Training Squad (JK–5th Grade) Do you want to meet real police officers, military members, and fire fighters? In Meet Your Heroes camp, not only will you actually train for the jobs of these heroes, you will get to meet them in real life, and go into their police car and fire trucks! This camp is perfect for any child who loves to do good or be a hero, or has interest in police, firefighting, or the military! Theater Camp: Frozen Jr. (JK–8th Grade) Join the magic in this summer’s theater production: Frozen Jr.! In this two-week camp, campers will experience the excitement of producing Frozen Jr. from start to finish. They’ll learn acting, singing, and dancing while bringing beloved characters like Elsa, Anna, and Olaf to life. With hands-on opportunities in stagecraft, costume design, and set building, children will gain valuable theater skills and confidence. The camp will culminate in a live performance for family and friends, making this the perfect experience for young performers of all levels! NOTE: This is a 2-week camp. Enrollment in both week 6 and 7 is required to participate. PM Sessions (1:00 pm–4:00 pm): Circus and Magic Training (JK–8th Grade) Are you ready to join Mrs. Bernard in the The Greatest Show? In circus and magic training camp, students will learn to be the ultimate performers by mastering illusions, magic, and the great art of circus performance! Making objects disappear, taming (pretend) animals, and jumping through actual hoops are all a part of our incredible show! On the last day of camp, our performers and magicians will amaze and dazzle their family members with a circus show for all ages! Don’t miss the chance for your little magician or acrobat to show what they can do at The Greatest Show: Circus & Magic Training! Coding Club (4th–8th Grade) This intermediate/advanced coding camp is designed for those students who have previous experience coding either from Heritage Oak’s Computer Science class or elsewhere. Campers will flex their debugging and code construction skills as well as experiment with various coding languages including Scratch, Swift, and Python to solve programming puzzles, create apps, or even design a basic video game!
