AM Under the Sea SLIME – JK-8th
Get ready to dive into an ooey-gooey summer adventure – Slime but with a beachy twist, including sandy slime, ocean slime, jellyfish slime, and even slimy seaweed slime. Not only is slime-making fun, but it offers a wide range of benefits, from educational and sensory development to fostering creativity and providing a relaxing, enjoyable activity for children of all ages. Sign up for buckets of fun this summer! **Please note that this camp will be offered in the morning and afternoon during this week. Students are welcome to join both sessions, but the activities will be the same.

AM Archery – 3rd-8th
Does your child enjoy Olympic sports? Archery is always popular to watch, but would your child like a chance to take part in the exciting sport of archery? Campers will be taught the fundamentals of stance, nocking, aiming, and loosing arrows in a fun, safe learning environment. Compound bow mastery, compensating for weather, judging distance and terrain, and mental exercises for clarity and focus will be covered in this exciting camp. **Please note that this camp will be offered in the morning and afternoon during this week. Students are welcome to join both sessions, but the activities will be the same.

AM Oscar Dreams Filmmaking Academy – 3rd-8th
Join this year’s “Oscar Dreams Filmmaking Academy” camp, where students will get to produce, film, direct, and star in their very own short film! Using iPads and Movie Editing Apps, they’ll learn to make a cinematic masterpiece of their very own, with props, costumes, and even safe stunts! On the last day of camp, the edited films will be shared in our very own Future Filmmakers Academy Awards, where students and parents can view all the short films and receive awards for their hard work. This week is sure to be a Hollywood Filmmaking blast!

AM Crafty Creations – JK-8th
Learn, make, and create! Release your inner artist by creating picture frames, wind chimes, and so much more in this hands-on art class!

AM Young Debaters – 3rd-5th
During the “Young Debaters” Camp, students will develop essential communication, critical thinking, and public speaking skills through engaging activities and teamwork. Our camp is designed to boost your child’s confidence in expressing their thoughts and ideas in a supportive and nurturing environment. Children will enjoy friendly debates on age-appropriate topics while exploring their creativity and having fun learning this important and valuable set of skills. Don’t miss the chance to help your child become a more articulate and confident communicator!

AM Grammar Greatness – 1st-2nd
Help your child improve their reading, writing and conversation by achieving the grammatical skills necessary for 1st and 2nd grade! This class will introduce the fundamentals of grammar including the basic parts of speech, sentence structure, capitalization, and punctuation. Fun activities will not only keep the students engaged but will also help them understand the function of concepts. By the end of this course, they’ll be bound for greatness! *English Proficiency Required.

PM Kid Presidents: Build a Nation – JK-8th
Are you the future president of the United States? If so, you’ll need some training! In our Kid Presidents – Build a Nation camp, the citizens of our country will vote on a name and flag for our special country, and we will elect officers to run our nation, including a president! THEN the fun begins: We will build our new land out of cardboard, plenty of paint, props, and some good old-fashioned hard work! Once our land is built, our nation will be open for business! Teachers and students from Camp Heritage Oak will be welcomed as a grand finale to tour our very own special place. Campers will learn all about cities, important jobs, counting money, working toward a common goal and being a part of the community. This is a chance for your child to dive into his or her own imagination, develop critical thinking skills, and learn what it takes to make a city run. It’s

PM Picturesque Poetry – 2nd-5th
Discover the beauty of poetry! Come be inspired to create a written connection with your artistic emotions. Students will learn various types of poetry while writing and illustrating their own works of art. *English Proficiency Required.

PM Phonics & Writing – JK-1st
Increase your child’s phonics and writing skills with hands-on activities. Students will strengthen these skills through fun-filled songs and center-based peer lessons. Children will practice vowel sounds, consonant sounds and blends and participate in spelling lessons. They will create their own sight word cards and practice writing complete sentences through journal prompts. *English Proficiency Required
